Walking 365 Campaign
Boost participation and increase sales
There are two ways to make more money with a product. Either grab a bigger piece of the pie; or increase the size of the pie. This is what we did for a client in the footwear industry with the Walking 365 campaign. This web-based initiative encouraged participation in walking, and gave web visitors great, scientific information on the health benefits of walking - along with tips for effective stretching and efficient walking. A soft sell of our client's products was woven into the content. The website also served as a social network for fellow walkers to communicate with one another, plan group walks and discuss health issues with experts. It was a "walking Facebook" many years before Facebook even existed.
