Creative Memories Identity

Creating new memories.

Repositioning a brand is a big job. It requires a dedicated client, a desire to succeed, a deep understanding of the customer, and people who have the skills to pull off a major rebranding with gusto. Adventure knows, because we’ve been through it more than once. Most recently, we helped international consumer brand Creative Memories reposition in high style. So high, in fact, that the results earned us a REBRAND 100® Global Award. Both Creative Memories and Adventure couldn’t be more pleased.

Fine Praise: “This is the highest recognition for excellence in brand repositioning, and is the first and only global program of its kind. To select the winners, an international panel of multidisciplinary experts convenes to consider “before” and “after” representations of brand transformations with written summaries. Emphasis is on executed strategy that makes an emotional connection, and meets the stated objectives and needs of the identified customers and prospects.” – REBRAND

Fierce Competition: More than 32 industries and 34 countries are represented among the 2011 winners. They range from Australian Diabetes Council to luxury car brand, Audi. Some of the other competing branding firms included FutureBrand, Interbrand, MetaDesign and Siegel+Gale.

Formidable Judges: Some 2011 Award Judges included Marty Neumeier, Director of Transformation, Liquid Agency and author of Zag and The Designful Company; Fred Gelli, Creative Director and Partner, Tátil Design de Ideias in Brazil; Janelle James, Vice President, Account Director, Leo Burnett Worldwide; Chris Butler, Vice President, Newfangled; and Inese Silina of Nike Golf Global Brand Design.

Adventure helped develop the rebranding from square one, working closely with Creative Memories’ talented in-house creative director and art department. The job began with new logo creation and ended with design of all rebranded collateral, catalogs and the Creative Memories website.

It was a successful and rewarding project. And the award? Well that’s just icing on the cake.
