New Little Hotties Brand Identity Ready for Store Shelves.

As the temperatures drop, it’s time to think about hand warmers. We’re excited at Adventure™ Advertising, because the new Little Hotties brand identity we developed is ready for upcoming winter sales.
Little Hotties’ turned to Adventure for a new brand identity because their previous
look was dated and strikingly similar to competitive commodity brands. They wanted
to boost shelf pull.
So we created a new logo, color palette and messaging to set Little Hotties apart from the competition and convey the excellent performance for which the brand is known. The result is sleek, sophisticated packaging and POS designs that get attention and quickly communicate the product’s applications and benefits.
Meteorologists predict a cold winter. Fine by us, because that means hot sales
for our client.

Promoting Diet Pepsi with Style.

Diet Pepsi wanted to boost sales among women in select markets. So regional bottler Bernick’s turned to Adventure™ Advertising to develop an eye-catching “Taste of Fashion” campaign to achieve their goals. We appealed directly to their target demographic with fashion illustrations that incorporated Diet Pepsi and the brand’s core colors in smart, stylish ways. The original artwork – which we created in pen, ink and watercolor – appeared in retail point-of-sale displays, billboards, mall kiosks, print ads and direct mailers. All communications invited customers to a special event where attendees won trips to New York City, shopping sprees and premium fashion merchandise.
According to Bernick’s marketing director Jill Kampa, “The strong creative made people stop and take notice of our product and promotion. THANK YOU so much for making us look great!”

Adventure™ Advertising Announces the Opening of a New Office in Surfers Paradise, Australia.

Adventure recently entered into an agreement with Your Inspiration at Home™ to assume global responsibilities for marketing and brand development of the international spice and seasoning company. We will assume responsibilities of an in-house marketing department, supporting the company’s rapid growth in Australia, the United Kingdom, Asia and new launches in the United States and Canada. As an in-house marketing department for YIAH, we’ll share resources and staff with the home office in Queensland.
Adventure will continue to operate as an independent full-service advertising agency within our Minnesota offices in Brainerd, Minneapolis and St. Cloud.

A Glimpse Into the Future.

Adventure Advertising works on many product development projects, packaging, advertising campaigns and marketing plans that won’t launch for 12-18 months. It’s critical that we’re thinking and looking ahead at what will motivate consumers not just today, but in the future.
In our visual industry, color and pattern trends are key. So a few times a year, the Adventure team travels to New York to hear from world-renowned experts about cultural trends and how they’ll affect what we see in clothing, home interiors and advertising.
This spring, we attended seminars from leading trend research companies from Italy, Paris, London and New York – all presenting what we’ll see in the Spring/Summer of 2013 and Fall/Winter 2013/14. We’ve already started to use those insights of “what’s next” in the work we’re doing for many of our clients – ensuring the work is visually on target the minute it launches.
What did we learn? Well, that’s a bit of a trade secret. But we can give you a hint. If 2012’s color of the year was Tangerine Tango, it’s likely that in 2013/14 the Adventure logo will be more “on trend” than ever before.

Adventure Gives Back, Supports the Arts and Helps a Brand Evolve.

For nearly 15 years, Great River Educational Arts Theatre (GREAT) has created meaningful theatrical experiences for performers and audiences of all ages. With roots as a children’s theatre, they give more than 1,000 youngsters the opportunity to perform in productions and theatre camps each year. Additionally, nearly 20,000 students a year from the region attend a GREAT school matinee or are impacted by their artist-in-residence programs. GREAT is the second largest children’s theatre program in Minnesota, rivaled only by the Children’s Theatre Company in Minneapolis.
As GREAT Theatre evolved through the years, and came to introduce grown-up theatre as well, their logo and identity began to lack the sophistication the organization had achieved. So Adventure Advertising volunteered to help them refresh their brand with logo updates and a complete brand standards guide.
With the refresh, we maintained the recognizable star icon in GREAT Children’s Theatre’s new look. Adventure also introduced a second logo specific to GREAT Theatre Company for performances geared toward teens and grown ups. Both unified logos were unveiled when GREAT Theatre announced their 2012-2013 season – and the response has been phenomenal. The look will be fully rolled out on their website and in all of their other materials once the current season wraps.
As proud supporters of art and culture in central Minnesota and beyond, Adventure was honored to donate our talents to GREAT Theatre’s noble cause.
